Referral from your Vet

A thoughtful, practical next step when your veterinary team has noticed your cat may need a little more support.

Cat behaviour consultation

A plan that looks at the whole picture.

Thanks for being referred to The PAWS Approach by your veterinary team. We work with cats experiencing behaviour concerns, from litter box issues to anxiety and beyond, and build a practical plan to address them alongside your vet.

Cooperative care is part of every plan. We help cats feel safe and in control during handling, medication and vet visits, so your clinical recommendations are easier to implement at home and less stressful for your cat.

What to expect

Once you book, we'll liaise directly with your vet to receive any relevant history ahead of your appointment, you won't need to organise this yourself.

Pick a time using the button below, then tell me your cat's vet when you fill in the intake questionnaire. Don't worry if you can't remember every detail, the questionnaire covers the basics, and I'll follow up with your vet for the rest.

Before you book

A few useful things to know.

  • The initial consult session is approx. 90 minutes and takes place in person for Canberra and Queanbeyan clients, or online for everyone else.

  • I'll send payment details once your appointment is confirmed and your intake questionnaire is complete.

Got questions before booking? Use the contact form and I'll get back to you, usually within 48 hours.

Important: Booking a vet referral consult means you're consenting to share relevant clinical history between your vet and The PAWS Approach.
